  1. a. (n.) Firewood cut from a fir tree.

    Example: I have a few fir trees we can cut up into firwood.

  1. a. (n.) The body part commonly referred to as the forehead, only larger or higher due to a receding hairline or facial structure.

    Examples:
    Check out the fivehead on that old man.

  1. a. (interj.) Used to express displeasure; "Oh poop!"

    Example: "Fizuck! My beer went flat!"

  1. a. (adj.) To be shocked and astonished and disgusted all at the same time.

    Example: He bent over to fix the water pipe and I was so flabbergusted.

  1. a. (v.tr.) To be over come with astonishment that despite excessive dieting you haven't lost a pound.
  2. b. (v.tr.) (adj) As if struck dumb with astonishment that you haven't lost a pound after a rigorous diet.

  1. a. (interj.) A word used to express something good or fantastic. Commonly used when one can't think of a word to describe something. Often, nobody knows what it means, but its peculiar sound gives it away as meaning something good.

    Example: "That's flaberjastic!"

32. flake (flāk)

  1. a. (n.) Slang. A knock-off production or product made to appear as good as the superior work or product from which it came.

    Example: This grocer's brand orange juice is just a flake made from a powder mix.

  1. a. (n.) A person who thinks they are qualified to rewrite someone's work.

    Example: The latest Romeo and Juliet film was made by a bunch of Flakespeares.

  1. a. (adj.) Being both flashy and fashionable.

35. flashmentalist (flăsh-mĕn'tl-ĭst)

  1. a. (n.) Someone who is obsessed with creating and programming websites using Macromedia Flash software.

  1. a. (n.) A domesticated animal often seen in the middle of the road after many tires have driven over it. Generally, any miscellaneous or unknown type of road kill. Sometimes useful as a frisbee.

  1. a. (adj.) To be full of flattery.

    Example: "You're feeling rather flatterful today I see."

38. flavorite (flā'vər-ĭt)

  1. a. (adj.) Referring to a flavor that is preferred above all others.

    Example: That is my most flavorite vegetable ever.

39. fliggan (flĭg'gən)

  1. a. (n.) A piece of something too small to verify it's original makeup.

    Example: "You have a fliggan on your sweater."

  1. a. (n.) A flipping off of someone by using one's middle finger.

    Example: He just gave me the flinger.

41. flippoyance (flĭ-poi'əns)

  1. a. (n.) The annoyance of hair that constantly needs to be flipped or shaken out of one's eyes.

    Example: "Her hair's flippoyance finally drove her to the point of pulling it into a ponytail when she jogged."

42. flish (flĭsh)

  1. a. (v.) To wish you could fly.
  2. b. (v.) flĭsh. To wish you could swim as well as a fish.
  3. c. (n.) flĭsh. To throw oneself down onto something and flop wildly while allowing oneself to go wherever gravity takes them.

    Example: Stop flishing around and finish your dinner.

43. FLK (ĕf ĕl kă)

  1. a. (acro.) Funny Looking Kid; Common birth center term for a newborn who comes out looking "not quite right", but not so irregular as to be able to give him/her a label.

    Example: "Baby Joan is an FLK."

  1. a. (n.) The unpopped kernels at the bottom of the cooker.

  1. a. (n.) The tendency when sharing a waterbed to undulate for five minutes every time the other person moves.

  1. a. (v.) The dangerous practice, in a darkened room, of using one's finger to guide the end of an electrical plug into a wall socket.

  1. a. (n.) A cross between flem and a lugi that can get caught at the back of one's throat, becoming nearly impossible to spit out or blow out of one's nose.
