  1. a. (n.) A person purported to be evil and frightening, but who is simply lame.

    Example: Freddy may have been scary at one time, but now he's just a lamien.

  1. a. (n.) Those strange people who show up in the photo sections of brand-new wallets.

  1. a. (v.) To amble with a limp, either seriously or in jest.

  1. a. (n.) A submissive individual who is socially dependent on the leader of the group. The lapdog will always do what the group leader asks without question.

    Examples:
    Edward is Dee's lapdog; he doesn't do anything without her permission.

    I'll have my lapdog first try this experimental super-protein.

  1. a. (n.) Tater tots that were left in a refrigerator for over a week and have started to turn weird colors.

  1. a. (n.) A mixed-up relationship.

9. leet (lēt)

  1. a. (adj.) Elite.

    Example: That new source code is leet!

10. leetspeak (lēt-spēk)

  1. a. (n.) A form of written, and sometimes verbal, language used in the realm of savvy computer users, hackers and kiddies. In written language, words are often spelled with a portion of numeric symbols used to represent similarly looking letter counterparts.

    Example: 1337, l337 and l33t are three common ways the term leet is spelled in leetspeak.

  1. a. (n.) A notice or announcement in a public medium, meant to appeal to lascivious males, which uses two or more young women in a sexually suggestive pose to promote a product, service, or event.

    Example: Those liquor companies and nightclubs certainly use a lot more lesbertising these days. Even NASCAR is getting into it.

  1. a. (adj.) Anything having female homosexual traits and/or lesbian qualities.

    Example: That's a very lesbionic hair style.
  2. b. (adj.) Something done specifically by or for lesbians.

  1. a. (adj.) Without; not having even a lesser amount.

14. libits (lĭ'bĭts)

  1. a. (n.pl.) Any piece of bread from the front or back of a loaf that no one wishes to eat.

  1. a. (v.) The act of licking the spatula after baking.

    Example: Many are familiar with well-known lickaspatchian techniques.

16. lingoist (lĭng-gō'ĭst)

  1. a. (n.) A specialist in the area of lingo terms. Often, these individuals lose touch with society purely because they refer to ordinary things using shortened phrases and acronyms.

    Example: Have you ever spoken to Joe, the lingoist? I can't understand a single thing he's talking about.

  1. a. (v.) When a link on a webpage becomes extinct.

    Example: His website linkrotted shortly after he started redesigning it.

  1. a. (n.) A meal eaten late in the day, but early in the evening as a combination of lunch and dinner.

  1. a. (v.tr.) To be drunk on alcohol.

  1. a. (n.) Monies loaned, typically to a close relative, without the expectation of renumeration.

    Example: Dave wrote off the $300, which he gave his daughter to fix her car brakes, as a loanation.

  1. a. (n.) A regal, mature woman of the city.

22. lonolik (lŭ-nō'līk)

  1. a. (v.) To truly love someone as a friend and yet not actually like the person in a romantic way.

    Example: "Wow! Alex, I lover her to death, but I don't like her like her." "So do you lonolik her?"

  1. a. (n.) The medical procedure by which a patient's sex is changed from male to female.

24. loseronic (lü'zə'rŏn'ĭk)

  1. a. (adj.) Describing a complete and utter loser.

25. losery (lü'zər'ē)

  1. a. (adj.) Having the characteristics of a loser.
  2. b. (adj.) Decidedly not a winner.
  3. c. (adj.) Deserving of merciless ridicule.
