1. vantastic (văn-tăs'tĭk)
- a. (adj.) a lesser version of the term, fantastic. Used to make fantastic seem less than a great decriptive word.
Example: The dinner was vantastic!
2. varidextrous (vâ'rĭ-dĕk'strəs)
- a. (adj.) Neither right-handed, left-handed, nor ambidextrous; performs some tasks with the right hand and others with the left.
3. varietous (və-rī'ĭ-təs)
- a. (adj.) Having great variety.
4. vart (värt)
- a. (n.) A discharge of gas from the female private area.
5. vaseless (vās'lĭs)
- a. (adj.) The state of lacking flower vases. Other forms include vaselessness.
6. veephobia (vē-fō'bē-ə)
- a. (n.) A fear of the letter "v", usually feared by people who have had bad experiences with people whose name begins with the letter "v", or perhaps they just don't like the sound of the letter "v".
Example: His veephobia has kept him from asking out Vanessa, even though Vanessott.
7. vegeludes (vĕ'jĕl'yüds)
- a. (n.) Individual peas or kernels of corn that you end up chasing all over the plate.

8. Vegetabible (vĕj'ĭ-tə-bī'bəl)
- a. (n.) A book pertaining to the ways that a vegetable should live. Sometimes referred to as a gardener's book on growing vegetables.
9. vehemental (vē'ə-məntl)
- a. (adj.) Characterized by a furiousness or passion that is bordering on insanity; a stronger form of vehement.
10. vendage (vĕn'dĕj)
- a. (n.) The age, usually unknown, of over-processed food items found in common vending machines.
Example: I'm pretty hungry, but the food in this machine is of questionable vendage.
11. vendovalueist (ven'dō-val'yü'ist)
- a. (n.) A person who inserts his change into vending machines according to value (nickels, dimes, quarters, etc.).

12. verbal-vomit (vûr'bəl-vŏm'ĭt)
- a. (n.) Spontaneous comments that make no sense, have no point, or are completely off the subject.
13. verbosify (vər-bōs'ə-fī')
- a. (v.) To make wordier.
Example: I have been verbosifying my vocabulary.
14. vertigotic (vûr'tĭ-gŏt'ĭk)
- a. (adj.) Describing a person who has vertigo badly.
Example: I feel extremely vertigotic up here.
15. Viday (vī-dāy)
- a. (n.) Virtual Friday, which occurs when one's last day of work for the week is not on Friday.
Example: Frank is off Thursday and Friday for Thanksgiving, so Wednesday is his Viday.
16. videocracy (vĭd'ē-ŏk'rə-sē)
- a. (n.) The power of visual images in shaping contemporary societies; the crucial impact of television, cinema, internet, and advertising on public opinion, political affairs, market strategies, etc.
Example: Ideocracy is dead. The so-called communist countries are communist no longer. Was it the power of democratic ideals or American-style videocracy that ended the communist utopia? Perhaps videocracy has become an indispensable part of democracy in the media age.
17. viewlexia (vyü-lĕk'sē-ə)
- a. (n.) Temporary dysfunction in which a novice digital camera user puts their eye very close to the LCD screen as if it were the viewfinder in a conventional camera.
18. vigilauntie (vĭj'əl-än'tē)
- a. (n.) The relative in every family who is snoopy and always poking her nose into other people's business.
19. virii (vī-rē)
- a. (n.pl.) More than one virus. Usually relating to having more than one virus on one's computer.
20. voguenoxious (vōg-nŏk'shəs)
- a. (adj.) The state of being stylish or in vogue, to the point of being annoying to others. To be obnoxious about one's own style.
21. voilissimo (vwä-lē-sē'mō)
- a. (interj.) To play in a diligently excellent way.
Example: Voilissimmo!
22. voitlock (voit'lŏk')
- a. (n.) Situation when a basketball is thrown and wedges itself between the hoop and the backboard.

23. voluntold (vŏl'ən-tōld)
- a. (v.) When one has been volunteered for something by another person. Often against their wishes or desires.
Example: My mom voluntold me to help at Aunt Muriel's wedding.
24. vomitous (vŏm'ĭ-təs)
- a. (adj.) Describing a situation or thing that causes one to feel like vomiting.
- b. (adj.) Prone to spewing; Not necessarily vomit, but also words, stories, advice, negativity, etc.
25. vu jade (vü zhä'dā)
- a. (n.) The strange feeling that an experience has never happened before.
