1. abominaball (ə-bŏm'ə-nə-bôl)
- a. (n.) Any ball that has made its way into the interior of a greenhouse or home by exploiting the presence of an unopened window.
2. backspackle (băk-spăk'əl)
- a. (n.) Markings on the back of one's shirt from riding a fenderless bicycle in mud.

3. bizoos (bi-züs)
- a. (n.) The millions of tiny individual bumps that make up a basketball.

4. bowlikinetics (bō'lĭ'kə-nĕt'ĭks)
- a. (n.) The act of trying to control a released bowling ball by twisting one's body in the direction one wants it to go.

- a. (n.) In golf, a provisional mulligan. A mulligan is a second shot, without penalty, when the golfer is unhappy with the first. If, however, the mulligan is worse than the first shot, it becomes a mulligal and the player uses his first ball.

- a. (n.) An injury, usually a pulled groin muscle, sustained while trying to show off a cool martial arts move.

- a. (n.) A flashy or showoff dunk during a basketball game.

- a. (n.) Deflection off a small rock or pebble on a baseball field thereby changing the direction of the baseball.

- a. (adv.) To conduct through physical combat, typically a duel.

- a. (n.) A team within a larger team. Consisting of as few as one member, teamlets can research topics of great importance and report back to a team or larger teamlet which reports to an even larger team.

- a. (n.) Situation when a basketball is thrown and wedges itself between the hoop and the backboard.

- a. (n.) The ruckus of media provided excitement, commentary, interviews and highlights which follow the winning of any major sports championship. Similarly: (pl.) yippideehoohas, yippideeprehas (fanfare preceding the big game), yippideeposthas.
Example: We don't need to listen to anymore of this yippideehooha. We already know who won the game. - b. (n.) The media excitement over any major news event and the continued 'coverage' that ensues.
- c. (n.) The excessive media coverage on a news event that is of extremely low importance.
Example: Today, a Springfield man lost his cat. We will be giving you 'up-to-the-minute' continued coverage of this story as more information unfolds.
