26. cowversation (kăü'vər-sā'shən)
- a. (n.) A topic one continues to milk over and over because they've run out of other things to say.
Example: "Great weather we're having. Just can't get over how sunny it is." "Yeah..." "So, it's not too hot, just bright. I love that." "..."
27. croms (krômz)
- a. (n.) Something well-formed. This is an attribute of words.
Example: Well, you understand the croms, but you just don't have the gift of making up definitions for these words.
28. cromulent (crôm-yü-lənt)
- a. (adj.) Being well-formed; legitimate; of a word, especially a neologism, that is not previously attested in the language but obeys its rules of word-formation.
29. decidribel (dĕs'ə-drĭ'bəl)
- a. (n.) A unit used to measure the stupidity of a speech.
30. disemvowel (dĭs'ĕm-văü'əl)
- a. (v.) T rmv ll th vwls frm spm r thr dslkd txt. Translation: To remove all the vowels from spam or other disliked text.
31. docuphobia (dŏc'ū-fō'bē-ə)
- a. (n.) The fear of using documentation, usually resulting from some previous traumatic event such as programming a VCR.
32. donk (dŏngk)
- a. (v.) To speak in a pompous and circuitous manner, inventing words, and adding meaningless prefixes and suffixes to existing words.
- b. (v.) To smack (one's head) in a dumbfounded manner.
33. dotcomword (dŏt-kŏm-wûrd)
- a. (n.) Any word made up in attempts to rank higher for the term which it was made to describe, and to steal traffic from the websites to which it was submitted.
Example: Dooderspoodle - The scoop used to clean up cat litter. See dooderspoodle.com for more information. (This is just an example dotcomword, dooderspoodle.com doesn't really exist... yet.)
34. dribel (drĭ'bəl)
- a. (n.) A unit used to express relative difference in power or intensity between two stupid or childish speeches, often relating to drunken speech.
Example: He's so drunk he must be talking at about 54 dribels! No wonder you can't understand him one bit.
35. drunkword (drŭngk-wûrd)
- a. (n.) Any unword that is submitted to a unword website by an inebriated person.
Example: An excellent drunkword: Vanessott, meaning Vanessa is really hot.
36. eleventy (ē-lěv'ən-tē)
- a. (n.) Hypothetical number used by those in the two-to-seven age range as a means of impressing parents or siblings with a new found skill.
Example: "It is eleventy o'clock!"
37. Englishification (ĭng-glĭsh-ĭ-fĭkcā'shən)
- a. (n.) The alteration, while speaking a language other than English, of an English word to make it sound like a word in the language one is speaking, or attempting to speak.
Example: Miruku is a Japanese Englishification of the word milk.
38. fibliography (fĭb'lē-ŏg'rə-fē)
- a. (n.) The sources one cites on a research paper for which one did no research at all.
- b. (n.) fĭb'lē-ŏg'rə-fē. Sources cited that you, either did not use, or used once, erroneously, because the source never actually pertained to your paper at all.
39. fictionary (fĭk-shə-nĕr'ē)
- a. (n.) A fictitious dictionary.
40. Flakespeare (flāk'spîr)
- a. (n.) A person who thinks they are qualified to rewrite someone's work.
Example: The latest Romeo and Juliet film was made by a bunch of Flakespeares.
41. fo (fō)
- a. (prep.) Slang. For; because of.
Example: "Fo real?" "Fo shizzle."
42. frogwash (frôg'wôsh')
- a. (n.) Balderdash; ridiculous or valueless communication.
43. fuzzword (fŭz'wûrd')
- a. (n.) A word, usually a buzzword, which has no precise meaning even in context.
44. ghastipate (găstə-pāt')
- a. (v.) When the confused state of mind causes one's vocalization to become mixed-up, such that part of one's speech does not sound clear.
Example: "Wai..I..nev...mean..t..hur..y..." "Are you ghastipated?"
45. ghastipation (găstə-pā-shən)
- a. (n.) The state or feeling of being ghastipated.
46. gnilleps (gĭl-nĭps, gnĭl'lĕps)
- a. (n.) An incorrectly spelled word; any malformation of words with letters in an unaccepted order.
Example: Gnilleps is just plain fun to say.
47. graveorism (grāv'ə-rĭz'əm)
- a. (n.) An aphorism that has passed away as truth and is now reborn as metaphor.
Example: "A penny saved is a penny earned." "Who cares? It's a penny! Quit lecturing me with your graveorisms."
48. hu (hyü')
- a. (pron.) A 3rd person gender-neutral pronoun. Its brevity and morphological structure (one open syllable: a consonant + a vowel) make it similar to other 3rd person pronouns -- a typical, easily recognizable member of this class: he - she - hu.
Examples:
An employee may choose to cover only huself and hus child or any number of children.
It's the vice-president's job to support the president and take hus place when hu is away.
A hero is one who places huself at risk for another.
Hu that has ears to hear, let hu hear.
It should be the chief aim of a university professor to exhibit huself in hus own true character - that is, as an ignorant human thinking, actively utilizing hus small share of knowledge.
An introvert can easily become an extrovert when it is advantageous for hu to do so.
49. illiteration (ĭ-lĭt'ər-ā-shən)
- a. (n.) Any scattering of similiar sounds in sentences which are nonsensical, hence making them seem illiterate.
50. imaccentate (ĭm-ăk'sĕn-tāt')
- a. (v.) The act of subconsciously imitating the accent of the person to whom one is speaking, thereby causing the person to first become puzzled, and then slightly offended when they come to believe they are being made fun.
