1. alot (ə'lŏt)
- a. (abbrev.) A lot; excessively.
Example: I like you alot.
2. anxieapeek (ăng-zĭ'ĭ-pĕk)
- a. (n.) The cautious opening of an envelope containing semester grades or other possibly dangerous material.
3. cafetorium (kăf'ĭ-tôr'ē-əm)
- a. (n.) The room in an underfunded school which is a combination of a cafeteria and auditorium.
4. edutainjugal (ĕj´ə-tân´jə-gəl, ĕj´ə-tân´jü-gəl)
- a. (adj.) Salacious material presented on mass media as educational and consumed as entertainment by its audience.
5. eleventy (ē-lěv'ən-tē)
- a. (n.) Hypothetical number used by those in the two-to-seven age range as a means of impressing parents or siblings with a new found skill.
Example: "It is eleventy o'clock!"
6. eyelidology (ī-lĭd-ŏl'ə-jē)
- a. (n.) The study of one's own eyelids. Sometimes used as an excuse for sleeping in class.
7. fabramblicate (făb-răm'blĭ-kăt)
- a. (v.) The act of incessantly lying during a lecture about "facts", until one forgets what they've previously lied about and contradicts oneself.
8. fibliography (fĭb'lē-ŏg'rə-fē)
- a. (n.) The sources one cites on a research paper for which one did no research at all.
- b. (n.) fĭb'lē-ŏg'rə-fē. Sources cited that you, either did not use, or used once, erroneously, because the source never actually pertained to your paper at all.
9. hypothecary (hī-pŏth'ĭ-kâr'ē)
- a. (n.) A person, usually a college professor, so convinced of his or her own intellectual superiority that he or she feels things like the truth are beneath them. Often attempts to expound their own virtue with so-called hypotheses that bear only superficial resemblance to science, reality, or religion.
10. infotainjugal (ĭn'fə-tān'jə-gəl)
- a. (adj.) Describing salacious material presented on mass media as informational and consumed as entertainment by its audience.
Example: That PBS documentary on hormones in teenagers was really infotainjugal, wouldn't you say?
11. mathemagician (māth'ə-mə-jĭsh'ən)
- a. (n.) Someone who plays tricks with numbers.
12. mentoree (mĕn'tôr-ē)
- a. (n.) One having a mentor; the beneficiary of a mentorship.
13. padawan (pă'də-wän)
- a. (n.) An apprentice who undergoes intensive training under a learned Jedi Knight. In many cases, the apprentice is referred to as a young padawan.
14. professore (prə-fĕs'ôr)
- a. (n.) A teacher or educator who doles out copious amounts of tedious homework at their leisure, causing painful calluses on their student's digits.
- b. (n.) A teacher or educator who takes sadistic pleasure in the mental anguish of students.
15. qualificated (kwŏl'ə-fĭ-kāt'əd)
- a. (v.tr.) To be both qualified and educated.
Example: She was highly qualificated for the job.
16. scholarshipping (skŏl'ər-shĭp'pĭng)
- a. (v.) The act of an organization giving out awards.
17. thesisize (thē-sĭs-īz')
- a. (v.) To research, write, or edit one's own thesis.
