  1. a. (n.) The scrambled collection of various wet food scraps and chunks found in the drain stopper after washing the dishes.

27. flake (flāk)

  1. a. (n.) Slang. A knock-off production or product made to appear as good as the superior work or product from which it came.

    Example: This grocer's brand orange juice is just a flake made from a powder mix.

28. flotion (flō'shən)

  1. a. (n.) The tendency when sharing a waterbed to undulate for five minutes every time the other person moves.

29. flump (flŭmp)

  1. a. (v.) To fall out of your chair unexpectedly. See also: tipsle

  1. a. (n.) A combination fork and spoon.

31. frust (frust)

  1. a. (n.) The small line of debris that refuses to be swept onto the dust pan and keeps backing a person across the room until he/she finally decides to give up and sweep it under the rug.

  1. a. (n.) The indentations that appear in carpets after a piece of furniture has been removed.

33. hangle (hăng'gəl)

  1. a. (n.) Any cluster of tangled coat hangers.

34. housewifier (hăüs'wĭ'fē-ûr)

  1. a. (adj.) To become more of a housewife than previously; to act more on one's housewife instincts than others.
  2. b. (adj.) Having a strong impulse to clean, wash, or fold laundry, more so now than before.

35. hozone (hō'zōn')

  1. a. (n.) The place where one sock in every laundry load disappears to.

36. jointgantic (joint-găn'tĭk)

  1. a. (adj.) Describing a joint that is not of regular size, but not large enough to be considered a blunt.

    Example: This thing is jointgantic.

37. kipple (kĭp'əl)

  1. a. (n.pl.) Any collection of useless objects. Over time, kipple will reproduce itself if not attended to.

    Example: We found a lot of kipple in the attic of that old pack rat's home.

38. knick-knack (nĭk'năk')

  1. a. (n.) Alternatively, A device whose creation and use was predetermined to be absolutely nothing; a useless contraption whose sole purpose is to annoy the house maid or janitor who cleans around it.

39. mattricide (măt'rĭ-sĭd')

  1. a. (n.) The act of removing the "do not remove" tag on a mattress, thus somehow rendering the mattress invalid.

  1. a. (n.) Filth; usually, but not necessarily, identifiable.

    Example: There is nast all over my carpet.
  2. b. (interj.) Used to express disgust or offense.

    Example: Aww, Nast!

41. pedwipe (pĕd'wīp)

  1. a. (v.) The action of cleaning liquid off the floor with a sock that is still on one's foot because one has run out of paper towels, is to lazy to go get something else to clean it up, or is to lazy to lean over and clean it properly.

42. percoburp (pûr'kə-bûrp)

  1. a. (n.) The gurgling sound a coffee percolator makes.
  2. b. (n.) The final gasp a coffee percolator makes to alert one that it is ready.

43. petree (pē-trē)

  1. a. (v.) To water a tree with deadly liquids. Not to be mistaken with petre, used in a dish as fertilizer to grow things in a laboratory.

44. primuctified (prī'mŭk'tə-fīd')

  1. a. (adj.) Describing a feeling one experiences when one is the first to walk over a freshly mopped floor, often while the janitor looks on.

45. pupkus (pup'kəs)

  1. a. (n.) The moist residue left on a window after a dog presses its nose to it.

46. pupsqueak (pŭp-skwēk)

  1. a. (n.) The sound a yawning dog emits when it opens its mouth too wide.

47. rotatemate (rŏ'tāt-māt)

  1. a. (n.) The round swiveling tray used for storing household food items, often in holding condiments on your table. Another term for a Lazy Susan.

48. rubbage (rŭb'ĭj)

  1. a. (n.) Large pieces of truck tire found on the side of the road.
  2. b. (n.) An act of vigorously rubbing a dog's belly while speaking to the dog in baby-talk.

49. schlattwhapper (shlăt-hwŏp'ər)

  1. a. (n.) The window shade that allows itself to be pulled down, hesitates for a second, and then snaps up again.

50. shrinkcrap (shrĭngk-krăp)

  1. a. (n.) The shrink wrap that becomes completely and utterly twisted such that it is useless.
