Definition of Spanglish :.
(spăng'glĭsh)
1. (n.) A language formed from the inability of an English speaking citizen to read or speak Spanish words as they were intended.
Origins: A contraction of Spanish and English.
Examples:
Someone would be speaking in Spanglish if instead of pronouncing "¿Que paso vato?" as it should, "kā pă-sō vă-tō", they instead say it "kwî pā-sō, vā-tō". Essentially, instead of an "ah" sound they use an "ay" sound, and likewise for other phonemes.
