Definition of accumulation :.

(ə-kyüm'yə-lā'shən)

  1. 1. (n.) Distribution. A collection of effort resulting in a completed product.

Origins: From the Linux community's usage of distribution assigning a name to a development group's effort in choosing or designing components to create their own version of the Linux operating system.

Example: Did you hear about that accumulation of Linux where the developers just threw a bunch of random stuff together and called it a distribution. Or did you read the latest accumulation of Make® magazine?
