1. (n.) Refers to a ridiculously early time in the morning when the roosters start to crow.
Origins: In retrospect, perhaps rooster-thirty would make more sense, but does not have the same ring to it.
Example: I'd better stop drinking and go home. I have to be up at chicken-thirty.
