  1. 1. (n.) A unit used to express relative difference in power or intensity between two stupid or childish speeches, often relating to drunken speech.

    Origins: From Old English dreflian, drivel, and from 1928 decibel.

    Example: He's so drunk he must be talking at about 54 dribels! No wonder you can't understand him one bit.
