  1. 1. (n.) Conduct or behavior relating to heroism; a lesser form of heroism.

    Origins: A common misunderstanding of the root hero in both heroism and heroic. Heroic something related, but not necessarily of the same caliber as the qualities of a hero.

    Example: Superman showed great heroism, while his sidekick showed some heroicism.
