Definition of ideality :.
(ī'dē-ăl'ĭ-tē)
1. (n.) Frequently the opposite to reality. A dimension only spoken of in textbooks and lectures, and yet, while greatly desired, never seems to be the case.
Origins: Not to be confused with other definitions of ideality, this term actually is derived from ideal, being of idea, and from reality, the real dimension or existence in which we live.
