(ĭf-nĭk)
1. (n.) Any person whose life, habits and thinking are constructed conditionally.
Origins: From Old English gif, and from the early 1960's -nik used to indicate one who has a great deal of conformity to the prefix of the word.
Example: Don't ask him what he's going to do. As a typical ifnik, he will give you a dozen "ifs."
