Definition of showed :.

(shoud)

  1. 1. (v.in.) Showered. A short way of indicating that one has taken a shower.

Origins: Circa Fall 2003. From a dyslexic spelling of the term showered accidentally spelled like the term showed. Pronounce the term much like showered without the usual -er ending. The term derives much its true meaning from its context or how it is pronounced. "The butler showed them to their rooms," infers that a set of people were escorted to their temporary residence, but, "He showed just before bed," suggests a man took a moment to clean off before going to bed. To infer meaning the wrong way suggests a lack of common sense or a lascivious sense of humor on the part of the recipient of such remarks.

Example: John showed and dressed quickly because he was late for work. Jason showed and shaved before going to the wedding.
