1. (n.) A woman who hates men. The opposite of a misogynist.
Origins: Adapted from the name of Valerie Solanas, who shot and killed Andy Warhol in 1968. She wrote the "SCUM Manifesto" about the non-essential nature of men, whom she considered a "biological accident".
