1. (adj.) A personality trait that causes a person to consistently behave in an inconsistent manner. Common symptoms include: extreme indecisiveness; frequent shifting between hyper, impulsive & spastic behavior and a more subdued, introspective demeanor; an uncanny ability to identify with all sorts of varying personality types; and an inability to identify oneself as being one or the other. Individuals are known to sway between the following traits: extroverted vs. introverted, practical/realistic vs. imaginative, organized vs. disorganized, intelligent/clearheaded vs. ditsy, stubborn vs. complacent, among others.
Origins: First used by Joy McCroskey, in 2004, when she was thinking of an original screen name.
Example: Joy's splitzophrenic personality makes it difficult for people to define her and has caused some confusion to both her and others.
